The Day I Forgot.

So for this assignment I decided to create a short story in Bitstrip just to see how easy it was. I tested it out to get a better idea for the age appropriateness and simplicity of it. It was a lot of fun to use and it could easily be integrated into a number of classes. I will include the link to the site and a link to my short cartoon strip.
Bitstrip
There are so many great ideas covering a multitude of subject areas. The ability to do cross curricular activities is in almost every assignment. You can even sign up a class and assign projects and work per term and according to subject area. The teacher can even create their own assignments and post them for their students or other teachers and students to use.

Imagine the Concept being used in a Science unit, History unit, Health unit.

How about using this in an English unit on a book they have just read.

The students would learn the subject matter then put it into their own creative ideas.

Having to ability to add or delete backgrounds. Create their own Avatars or use ones already made.

Changing the clothes, bodies, body language and even face features makes this not only fun and creative but a unique way to tie in core subject matter.

I had a lot of fun and will definitely be using this in my classes. (I might even ask the Principal to see how much it would cost to purchase)
